Damage Scaling From Odd Places
Frenzy Charge setups can push damage hard, especially when armour break is involved. Heavy physical hits can break armour, generate endurance charges, and then certain mechanics can convert that momentum into frenzy generation. The reward is simple: faster attacks, faster casts, quicker movement, and smoother clearing. Projectile builds have their own weird angle too. With the right supports, projectile speed can become damage, which means a stat people often treat as comfort suddenly turns into a serious multiplier. Area of Effect works the same way for clear. A few AoE choices can take a cramped skill and make it wipe half the screen.
Testing Beats Blind Spending
Volatility stacking is another example of why experimentation matters. On paper, the self-damage can look awful. In the right build, though, you can reduce or ignore that drawback and turn the stacks into a massive damage boost. That’s the kind of discovery that doesn’t always show up in a simple gear checklist.
